The logical consequence is SAP Cloud ALM, an independent cloud-based application for application lifecycle management.
. It focuses on managing the entire lifecycle of applications in the cloud and offers functions such as roadmap planning, test management, incident management and more. SAP Cloud ALM is a separate product from SAP Solution Manager. Both can still be integrated with each other to provide a comprehensive solution for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). However, SAP has already announced that mainstream maintenance for Solution Manager will end in 2027. There will be a transition phase after that, but the company’s focus is clearly on the cloud.
